Karl Haynus

Karl was born and raised in the Twin Cities. He received his undergraduate degree from Hamline University in St. Paul and his J.D. from the University of St. Thomas School of Law in Minneapolis. Prior to attending law school, Karl worked in Court Administration in Anoka County for a year, which provided experience with the court system that remains useful in his career as an attorney today.

Upon passing the Bar Exam and becoming licensed to practice law in Minnesota, Karl opened his own small practice which he ran for four years. His experiences with his own small practice underscored to Karl the importance of not only working hard for each and every client, but also how strong communication, clear expectations, and helping navigate the emotional side of family law matters goes a long way.

Outside of work, Karl enjoys coaching high school basketball, lifting weights, and playing old video games.
